The Tasman Peninsula was one of the places we were most looking forward to exploring during our Tasmanian adventure. This rugged and beautiful region in southeast Tasmania is a remarkable mix of dramatic coastal scenery, fascinating convict history and untouched wilderness. Located approximately 75 kilometres southeast of Hobart (around a 90-minute drive), the peninsula is connected to the mainland by the narrow strip of land known as Eaglehawk Neck.
